St. John's College — McDowell Hall

Cole & Denny Architects provided architectural, engineering and interior design services to renew McDowell Hall on the campus of St. John’s College in Annapolis, Maryland. The 275-year old, 25,000 SF academic building is the fifth-oldest building in Annapolis’s National Register precinct. An iconic element of the historic campus, a critical objective of the design was to modernize the HVAC systems, refresh the interior dècor and improve accessibility while maintaining the traditional nature of the historic building.
