Cole & Denny Architects converted a commercial bakery into the headquarters offices of a national public relations consulting firm. The design preserved the gritty, commercial feel of the original 8,500 SF building while upgrading its character with fresh contemporary colors and furnishings. Exposed steel structure, ductwork and a stained concrete floors provide an open environment for a highly flexible and dynamic workspace. HVAC, power and plumbing systems were completely upgraded and insulating windows were added to improve daylighting and reduce energy costs.
