Bisdorf Cafeteria Renovation

This project transforms an existing campus café and commercial kitchen into a modern, efficient space that enhances both operations and the dining experience. Cole & Denny Architects provided design, documentation, and construction-phase services to deliver a fully upgraded facility. The renovation includes new food service equipment, hood replacement, and upgraded walk-in coolers, along with comprehensive mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and gas system improvements.

A refreshed aesthetic introduces new walls, flooring, ceilings, doors, and finishes throughout. In the dining area, the outdated traditional grid ceiling is replaced with a sleek open-cell system, complemented by modified ductwork, lighting, and accessories. Together, these upgrades create a brighter, more functional environment that elevates the café’s performance and appeal.
