Del Ray Splash Park

This project transforms an urban site in Alexandria, Virginia, into a vibrant community park for the Del Ray neighborhood. Cole & Denny Architects provided programming, schematic design, and construction cost estimating services to create a space featuring gardens, walking paths, and a splash fountain integrated into a paved plaza that can also accommodate concerts and other social gatherings.

The design establishes the park as a central public gathering place and a distinctive branding feature for the Del Ray community, fostering both recreation and social connection.
